It’s crazy that I can say that I have been behind a camera lens for two decades…20 years…wow! Needless to say, I fell in love with photography when I was 15…and it was by chance really. I borrowed a friend’s camera while camping with my father, and I was hooked ever since. I studied photography formally at the Department of Defense School of Photography (now known as Defense Information School). My love and education of photography started before the dawn of the digital age and I have been blessed to photograph many people, cultures, and events around the world.
As a photographer my specialty is you. Yes I am a specialist in making certain that your photos come out with the utmost care for detail, making certain your wedding in Springfield, Bloomington, St. Louis is captured and full of memories that will last over a life time. Or taking your family portrait for a loved one, a mom, a dad, or just because…that is what it is about…It is about you.
What do I mean by that? The time that we spend together creating memories, it should be fun, it should be capturing those moements when your personality shines through, it is about you.

As a photographer my main goal is to be the “Fly on the Wall” and document that special occasion you have waited so long to have. I work to capture thought provoking, heart-felt images that show true emotion and who that person is. I try to create a balance between documentary and the artistry of an image.
